What if sex education started at home with parents involved in the needed conversation?
What if parents were the first to get the education to inform their teens?
Not My Kid was created and designed to get parents up to date of what is going in the lives of their teenagers during increasing sexual discoveries and curiosity and to unveil true facts and debunk myths about this sensitive, but all-important issue.
Important facts and data were emphasized using simple design elements stated with color, simple graphics and typography. Language became a top feature, clear and appropriate for both parents and teens, to make it easier and accessible to start the conversation, using the magazine as a guide and inspiration.
